Get to know me!

I attended the University of Texas at Austin for a bachelor's in Computer Science and a minor in Psychology. My course concentration was in Machine Learning and AI but I also learned about full-stack development through a few side projects that I showcased here. Additionally, I interned at Other World Computing, a hardware company and online store for mac upgrades and accessories, as a backend engineer, and at Toyota Connected as a software engineer to develop solutions for safety services.

University Club Election App

This app displays the current leadership candidates of all the various clubs that a person might be in. It will also display the elections and the candidates in the election, along with an option to actually vote. At its core, it is a platform for voting. However, the application also includes essential utilities such as an event calendar, announcements, and I plan to implement in-app communication with all of a club's members in the future.

AI Learns to play Chrome Dino Game

I re-programmed the popular Chrome Dino game that displays on the homepage when the user is offline using Python's pygame module. I then made use of the NEAT algorithm (NeuroEvolution of Augmenting Topologies) to train a player model to learn how to play the game by itself over time. I also used MongoDB for database connectivity to store high scores across sessions and provide user authentication

NLP Cyberbully Detection

This application takes text that the user inputs and runs it through an algorithm consisting of google cloud's sentiment analysis api, various profanity checkers, and a few other heuristics to create a backend that will detect cyber bullying. I then built a basic UI to display the results of each entry.
